Abstract

Shrimp farms in the coastal area of Trisik is one potential source of economy for Banaran village communities, especially group of the shrimp Fanami Trisik Jaya. However, wastewater of shrimp farms produced a negative effect causing pollution in lagoons and Galur river. The impact caused the occurrence of blooming algae and death of fish. One of the methods can be done to reduce pollution wastewater shrimp farms either by building a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). WWTP construction integrated with microalgae biosolar cell technology in a package PROBIOGA to obtain multiplier effects in the form of renewable electrical power sources. Blooming algae in consequence of shrimp farms show that wastewater is potential for microalgae cultivation media, which will be used as a photosensitizer in the development of biosolar cells. Realization PROBIOGA facilitated by the role of students with details of step, beginning with site surveys, socialization and education, design and preparation of implementation, infrastructure development, facilitation of implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the end of activity to determine the achievement of program outcomes. Thus, PROBIOGA expected to overcome the problem of wastewater in the coastal shrimp farms Trisik, as well as supporting the supply of renewable electricity as one of the efforts to achieve self-sustainable coastal areas.
