Abstract

Water is a very vital need to support human life. Nampu Village is one of the villages in Jombang Regency that has problems with access to clean water. The village located at the end of Jombang regency is surrounded by limestone hills with an area of 11,712 km² which causes the water source of Nampu Village is less feasible to be consumed because it contains high lime content. Water content that is less clean will also cause many health problems Nampu Village residents. The need for a facility that can facilitate the community to get adequate water is needed so that the issues raised in this research is the provision of clean and drinkable water in the village of Nampu, Plandaan Subdistrict, Jombang Regency. This research and devotion aim to realize the people who care about the cleanliness of water and the environment and utilize high water content of high lime to be a source of healthy drinking water by using Reverse Osmosis Ultrafiltrasi Membrane. The design of the activities in this study includes (1) Surveys and Analysis of water quality, (2) Education for Drinkable Water Benefit by Participatory Impact Monitoring Method, (3) Establishment of Nampu Team, (4) Development of Lime Filtration Tool by Community, (5) Control, and (6) Evaluation.
