KAJIAN TEORITIK SINTESIS LiCrxMn2-xO4 DENGAN METODE TEKNIK IRADIASI GELOMBANG MIKRO DAN SOLID STATE REACTION

Abstract

Spinel LiCrxMn2-xO4 is an appealing candidate cathode material for Li-ion rechargeable batteries, but it suffers from severe capacity fading, especially at higher temperature (55oC) during discharging/charging. In recent years, many attempts have been made to synthesize modified LiMn2O4. This paper reviews the recent research on the structure of LiCrxMn2-xO4, preparation and doping modes of doped chromium for modifying LiMn2O4 as LiCrxMn2-xO4 by solid state reaction and microwave synthetic methods. From this paper, we also can see that spinel LiCrxMn2-xO4 as an attractive candidate cathode material for Li-ion batteries can be synthesized by microwave irradiation need optimization.
