Abstract
The purpose of this study is to know more deeply by analyzing the dynamics of personality, motivation, parenting applied to the child and the quality of life of a mother who works as a prostitute. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. The research was conducted from April to June 2019. The research site is located in the Gunung Antang, Jatinegara District. Based on data collection and analysis, it can be concluded that many commercial sex workers in Gunung Antang, Jatinegara, are widowed women who have children. The limited skills made them decide to work as sex workers to meet the needs of themselves and their children. They work to provide opportunities for children to be able to go to school. Some of the children of the sex workers are attending school in the commercial sex workers home village, not knowing what their mother do in their job. Many commercial sex workers feel uncomfortable where prostitution takes place because the danger is prone to being hit by the train and the place that smells bad and there are also sex workers who want to immediately stop their jobs as a prostitute because of their uncertain income.
