Abstract

Kampung Cyber is a settlement in the city, where in this region has uniqueness, full of internet networks, the village area is equipped with network cables that allows the entire citizens to access the Internet easily. The problem that is often feared is the decline in humanist values for people who have been literate on technology. The aim of this study is to reveal The purpose of this study is to reveal the implementation of Pagar Mangkok in an effort to strengthen the social relations in Kampung Cyber. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with ethnographic approach. This approach is used to understand the social reality according to what is available, look for the most basic traits of social reality, regarding social relations or interactions carried out by the people of Kampung Cyber Yogyakarta. In taking the data, researchers participated in activities carried out by the society. The results of this study show that the community of Kampung Cyber implements technology in their daily lives. The Internet is used as a means to strengthen the value of humanism in the life of society. This culture is able to adapt to technological developments, for example feeding through online motorcycle taxi applications. In addition, the application of Pagar Mangkok is also seen in community service activities and Wi-Fi sharing for the general public.
