SAMSAT (SAMPAH TERSESAT): SOSIALISASI HEALTHY EDUCATION ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR PIYUNGAN, BANTUL MELALUI PERMAINAN

Abstract

Environmental conditions can affect the learning ambience at school. One of the problems commonly encountered is the lack of awareness of elementary school students in environmental cleanliness. This is indicated by the waste management that is still not optimal, even people are still littering. To overcome this problem, we took the initiative to examine environmental issues in Piyungan, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study aims to provide knowledge about waste and foster elementary school student's awareness of environmental cleanliness. In this study, we found a method of conducting Healthy Education outreach to elementary school students, the SAMSAT (Sampah Tersesat/The Lost Trash) as an effective way of educating elementary school students about good waste management for the creation of a clean and healthy school environment.
