KAJIAN LITERATUR: EFEKTIVITAS SENYAWA PADA TUMBUHAN TALI PUTRI (Cassytha filiformis L.) SEBAGAI INSEKTISIDA NABATI HAMA PERTANIAN

Abstract
Indonesia is known as an agrarian country due to its abundant agricultural supply. The problem of crop pests still threatens agricultural supplies. Crop pests threaten the stability of agricultural production due to loss of yield and decline Productivity ranges from 20-95%. Dodder (Cassytha filiformis L.) is a parasitic plant that relies heavily on other plants. This plant is known to contain secondary metabolites in the form of saponins that have the potential to control pests. This study aims to find out the potential of the Dodder plant as a vegetable insecticide material to control agricultural pests in Indonesia. The method of extracting the princess rope plant used is the Percolation Method. Based on literature studies, saponin compounds in the princess rope plant are able to control horn beetle pests more effectively than the Decis pesticide. Dodder has the potential to be developed as an active ingredient of vegetable insecticides to control agricultural pests.
