Abstract

The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) outlined survey data from 2019-2020 regarding victims of sexual violence cases. Elementary school children (SD) became victims of sexual sexual violence by 64.7%. This high percentage is caused by various factors, including the lack of education of parents and schools about sexual violence, the lack of effective protective technology from sexual violence and the low credibility of law enforcement in eradicating perpetrators of sexual violence. The importance of collaboration between education, technology and legal action needs to be done to eradicate cases of sexual violence in Indonesia. Based on the description of these problems, the author has a solution idea in the form of "Safe Watch: Protective Technology for Crime and Sexual Violence for Elementary School Children Based on the Internet of Things (IOT)". The goals of Safe Watch itself is as a technology that can protect elementary school student from crime and sexual violence. The method used is Reaserch and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach which stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate. This media design includes stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) product development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Safe Watch is a futuristic planning in the field of technology in the form of accessories. Safe Watch will be connected iot (internet of things) with android or ios parents and the nearest police. In addition, Safe Watch is also equipped with a voice sensor that will detect the threat of sexual crimes and an automatic camera that will record the incident data base and the identity of the perpetrator. The use of Safe Watch will be accompanied by the provision of education to parents and children to understand sexual crimes and violence to understand sexual crimes and violence.
