PERUBAHAN PENGGUNAAN LAHAN SAWAH MENJADI PEMUKIMAN DI KECAMATAN COLOMADU KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR JAWA TENGAH TAHUN 2019-2022

Abstract
Colomadu District is one of the districts that is strategically located, which is directly adjacent to Surakarta City which is the center of Subosukowonosraten. As a result, population growth has increased rapidly, resulting in changes in productive land use to non-productive land. This research focuses on changing the use of paddy fields into settlements in Colomadu District. This study uses the Internet Searching research method using secondary data obtained on the internet site and also from the website of BPS Karanganyar Regency which produces objects of land use change including rice fields and settlements and processed using the ArcGIS application. The results of this study are that rice field cover in 2019 is 1,395 ha to 1,356 ha in 2022 and residential land cover in 2019 is 980 ha to 1,019 ha in 2022. 39 ha of rice fields turned into residential landThis change in land use is due to population growth as the main factor.
