Abstract
Indonesia has been unable to capitalize on job opportunities in the technology industry, despite having 69.30% of its population in the productive age bracket. The country lacks 9 million skilled tech workers, contrasting with an 8.4 million unemployment rate in 2022. The shortage of technology workers is due to a skills gap. In formal education, insufficient teaching of basic programming, like algorithms and problem-solving impact to the quality of programmers. A progressive learning platform is required to address this gap and assist in easily learning basic programming. Therefore, researchers have innovated through a scientific paper titled "CodingKuy: Inovasi Aplikasi Pembelajaran Dasar Pemrograman Interaktif dengan Adaptive learning berbasis Multi-sensory guna Mendukung Era Revolusi Industri 5.0". The research aims to create an application that facilitates basic programming learning for students and helps accelerate the government's program to nurture young digital talents towards Indonesia Emas 2045. CodingKuy is an interactive application that accommodates learning basic programming with preferred methods. The Research and Development (R&D) approach employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model was used for the development process, as it is suitable for producing software systems within a short time frame. Based on the results of unit testing analysis using a questionnaire method with 23 respondents, including students and subject matter experts, it was found that CodingKuy is valid and highly suitable with a feasibility score of 86.09%. With an attractive interface and user-friendly features, CodingKuy is a valuable tool for optimizing learning basic programming to support the industry 5.0 revolution.
